By: E&P Staff Sharon Roznik, the education reporter for The Reporter of Fond Du Lac, Wis., has been awarded the Wisconsin Technical College System District Boards Association 2007 Media Award, the paper announced today.
Roznik was nominated for the award by the Moraine Park Technical College for a feature she wrote about the college?s new culinary arts center and additional culinary arts programs in September of 2006.
Roznik has been with the Reporter since 1999, and has covered issues
concerning educational programs ranging from K-12 to college-level. She has received several annual media awards from the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, and was the first-place winner this past year at the
Wisconsin Newspaper Association awards in the category for best feature
page design and writing.
