Sherffius Slams Bush Administration in Herblock Prize Speech

By: E&P Staff Editorial cartoonist John Sherffius, in receiving the Herblock Prize Tuesday night, criticized Bush-administration policies and lamented that the press is weaker at a time when "one of the most abusive administrations" is in power.

Sherffius -- who was named the 2008 Herblock Prize recipient last month -- has also won the cartooning category of the Wilbur Awards.
