SNA Names New Ad Network

By: E&P Staff Suburban Newspapers of America (SNA) named its national ad network, Local Point Media, the organization said today.

"We want media buyers to easily understand what LocalPoint Media can do for them, and the network's name, tag line, and value proposition clearly spell it out," Nancy Lane, president of LocalPoint Media and SNA, said in a statement.

The tag for LocalPoint: National Advertising. Delivered Locally.

Sales efforts for the network, which represents 14 categories such as travel and automotive manufacturers, will begin at the end of August.

Nineteen community newspaper companies and the SNA own LocalPoint Media.
