SoftCare Upgrades its K4 Web Editor

By: E&P Staff German software developer SoftCare has released an upgraded version of its K4 Web Editor publishing solution. The latest release includes security upgrades and greater scalability, according to the company.

With version 2.1, K4 Web Editor customers can add users to the system more easily and economically via the Web. The upgrade provides improved navigation tools that give remote users access to existing articles and allow them to generate content using existing templates or create new articles and layouts.

The program's query mode also has been upgraded for faster and more intuitive article searches, and improved security features should offer greater data protection of content generated and distributed over Internet channels.

SoftCare products are sold in the U.S. by Managing Editor Inc., Jenkintown, Pa.
