South African Paper Accused of Censorship

The Committee to Protect Journalists in New York is fuming over a proposed law in the South African country of Swaziland that would require newspaper columnists to seek permission before publishing anything critical of their government. A statement by the country's prime minister appeared in the daily Swazi Observer, according to sources in South Africa.
