'Star Tribune' Promotes Tracy Sinopoli to Executive Sales Director

Tracy Sinopoli will assume the role of executive sales director at the Star Tribune of Minneapolis, Minn., where she will manage regional retail sales territories.

She will also continue her current responsibilities for direct mail and Twin Cities Values, a total-market coverage advertising product.

""Tracy has provided strong leadership for our direct marketing operation,"" said Mike LaBonia, senior vice president, Sales and Strategic Development in a statement. ""She will bring outstanding sales management leadership to our retail territories, as well.""

Sinopoli has over 20 years experience in the industry. She started at the Star Tribune 10 years ago as a strategic account executive. She became sales manager of Metro Marketing, a Star Tribune subsidiary, in 2000, and then eventually merged Metro Marketing into the main direct marketing operation at Star Tribune.
