By: Staff Reports Two Afternoon Editions To Keep Site Updated

Starnews.com, The Indianapolis Star's Web site, is adding a P.M. Update to handle
late-breaking news each weekday.

Scheduled to appear on Tuesday, March 28, P.M. Update will first be posted locally
at 2 p.m. A second afternoon edition will be posted 15 minutes after the New York
Stock Exchange closes. An e-mail version of P.M. Update will also be available.

'As new technologies become available, we're looking for ways to improve the delivery
of news and information to our readers,' said Jay Small, new media editor at The Star.
'P.M. Update allows us to provide our readers with broader coverage of news and events
as they evolve through the day.'
