Story Discusses the Pros -- and Cons -- of Web Comics

By: E&P Staff The growth of Web comics was the subject of an article in the McGill Tribune of Montreal's McGill University.

Carolyn Yates' Tuesday story noted that Web comics' advantages over print comics include the ability to run bigger, to include edgier material, to be more timely (since they don't have to be created as far in advance), etc. Disadvantages for Web cartoonists include smaller audiences in many cases and not earning a lot of money.
