Straus to Launch Chelsea News

New York is getting a new newspaper—albeit a small one.

Straus News, a New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania-based publisher that bought five Manhattan weekly newspapers two years ago, will launch a sixth, the Chelsea News, on Thursday. The Chelsea News will be a free, 10,000-circulation version of the paid, 3,000-circulation Chelsea-Clinton News, which Straus acquired through its 2013 purchase of Manhattan Newspaper Group.
