By: E&P Staff The Sun-Times Media Group (STMG) has appointed two new executives. Thomas L. Kram has been named senior vice president, finance and CFO. David C. Martin has been promoted to senior vice president, business development. Kram will report to Jeremy Halbreich, chairman and interim CEO; Martin reports into Rick Surkamer, president and COO.
Kram, 49, previously served as STMG's chief accounting officer and controller. He joined the company in 2004 after serving as vice president and controller for Budget Group.
Martin, 52, was most recently vice president, financial planning. He served as the company's interim senior vice president and CFO for the past four months.
"With Tom and Dave assigned to these specific responsibilities and tasks, we position their skills and strengths where they are most advantageous for Sun-Times Media Group," Halbreich said in a statement.
