Syndicate: Albom Didn't Lose Any Newspapers

None of the papers carrying Albom's Detroit Free Press column cancelled during the past month, according to John Twohey, vice president for editorial and operations at Tribune Media Services.

Twohey declined to specify the number of papers running Albom's column.

Albom, of course, was under fire for writing a column in the past tense set at a basketball game that hadn't happened yet. The bestselling author was suspended with pay while his early-April error was investigated, and then reinstated by the Free Press after receiving a reprimand (the nature of which has not been made public). Albom's first post-suspension column ran this weekend in the Detroit paper.
