By: E&P Staff A number of syndicated cartoonists are scheduled to appear at Comic-Con 2005, which runs tomorrow through Sunday at the San Diego Convention Center.
They include Lalo Alcaraz ("La Cucuracha"/Universal Press Syndicate), Bill Amend ("FoxTrot"/Universal), Ruben Bolling ("Tom the Dancing Bug"/Universal), Greg Evans ("Luann"/United Feature Syndicate), Gary and Glenn McCoy ("The Flying McCoys"/Universal), and Wiley Miller ("Non Sequitur"/Universal).
Also on hand will be Jerry Robinson, the formerly syndicated cartoonist who now serves as president of the Cartoonists & Writers Syndicate; and Sy Barry, who formerly illustrated "The Phantom" strip distributed by King Features Syndicate.
Comic-Con is expected to draw about 70,000 people.
