Tahoe 'Daily' Cuts Back to 3 Days a Week

Posted
By: he Tahoe Daily Tribune has announced plans to reduce its days of publication from five to three effective Feb. 2.

Publisher Mary Jurkonis said in today's edition that the move is necessary because of increases in the cost of newsprint and the sour national economy.

The paper was founded in 1958 and is now owned by the Reno-based Swift Communications. It will be published on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays instead of the current schedule of Monday through Friday.
