Tampa Bay Times Managing Editor Leaving for New Role

Tampa Bay Times managing editor Mike Wilson is leaving the Times in December to become managing editor of political analyst and statistician Nate Silver's website FiveThirtyEight.com.

Silver, who became nationally known for his analysis during the 2012 election, recently took his site to ESPN, planning a relaunch early next year. In his new job, Wilson will craft the site's expansion as well as lead day-to-day enterprise. He will also serve on the editorial board of ESPN.
