By: E&P Staff The Tampa Tribune will cease home delivery in Pinellas County on Mondays through Saturdays starting next week, the Media General-owned paper said Thursday.

The Tribune will continue to be available daily through single-copy outlets, and it will continue home delivery on Sundays.

Tribune Publisher Denise Palmer said the decision was a cost-cutting move, according to an account by Ted Jackovics posted on the Tribune's Web.

The paper will still be available daily in Pinellas at stores and news racks; home delivery will continue to be provided for the Sunday edition.

The decision is a cost-cutting move, Tribune Publisher Denise Palmer said today.

To entice subscribers to its electronic edition, the tribune is offering free views through June 18. It said readers interested in creating accounts can register on the electronic edition page, using the promotional code "pinellas."
