By: E&P Staff For the second year in a row The Tampa Tribune has been awarded the Kohl's Distribution Excellence Award from Kohl's Department Stores.
The Tribune's largest preprint customer, Kohl's runs more than 140 inserts annually in the paper, which in 2008 achieved error-free preprint distribution.
"This acknowledgement speaks volumes about our commitment to customer service at the highest levels throughout our organization," William Barker, operations vice president for Tribune parent company Media General's Florida Communications Group, said in a statement.
"It's also well-deserved recognition for the dedicated people who execute their job with perfection every day at The Tampa Tribune," added Barker.
