Techies get wired

By: Joe Strupp More high tech editors use Business Wire than any other online wire service, according to a recent survey by Tsantes and Associates.
The poll of editors at leading technology trade publications, and business and daily newspaper technology reporters, shows that 47% of those who monitor news wires on the Web, include Business Wire.
"Business Wire is the leading source of news for the great majority of high-tech companies in the United States," says Cathy Baron Tamraz, Business Wire executive vice president. The survey was conducted last January. Business Wire, which has 26 offices throughout the world, has been in operation since 1961.
