TEGNA (Formerly Gannett Co.) is Selling its Headquarters for $270 Million

TEGNA Inc. has announced it has signed a contract to sell its company headquarters for $270 million to Tamares, a private investment group established to make long-term investments in real estate, technology and the leisure industries. The deal is expected to close late in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter of this year.

USA Today had a very lively daily human interest column in the news section. The column was replaced by a new publisher because she thought the readers wanted to read more depressing news about the economy. Guess not as since then, the paper has gone through several reorganizations. How about giving the readers something they tell their co-workers and friends about?
