By: E&P Staff The third volume of "The Complete Peanuts" has been published by Fantagraphics Books.
It features all of Charles Schulz's 1955-56 "Peanuts" comics, including ones showing Linus learning how to talk and Snoopy getting more eccentric. There's also an introduction by "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening.
The fourth hardcover volume, covering 1957 and 1958, is scheduled to be released this October.
Fantagraphics will publish 25 volumes in the "Peanuts" series -- two each year over a period of 12-and-a-half years.
Schulz created "Peanuts" in 1950, and did the comic until shortly before his death in 2000. United Media continues to syndicate reruns of the strip.
