'The Day' in Conn. Names Two New Managers

By: E&P Staff Christine Neves has been appointed display advertising manager for The Day in New London, Conn.

Neves most recently was retail advertising manager for The Hartford Courant, where she started as an account executive and became sales coordinator. She was later promoted to regional sales manager.

The Day also has named William Hoelzel to the position of marketing research manager.

Hoelzel also comes from the Hartford Courant, where he has worked since 1984. He most recently managed the paper's research department and coordinated special projects.

Before joining The Courant, Hoelzel was an associate editor at The American Judicature Society and an editorial assistant at the Chicago Sun-Times.
