The Denver Post Names New Chief Digital Products Officer

DENVER -- The Denver Post, Colorado's media leader, has announced that Barbary Brunner
will join the company's senior management team as Chief Digital Products Officer.

In her newly created role, Brunner will be accountable for all digital revenue for The Denver Post and will be a part of MediaNews Group's Interactive Working Group. MediaNews Group is the parent company of The Denver Post.

Brunner will report to Kirk MacDonald, Denver Post Executive Vice President Advertising, Marketing and Digital Sales. She also will have accountability to Jerry Grilly, Denver Post President and CEO, and Michael Sileck, the MediaNews Group interim Chief Revenue Officer.

"Barbary adds depth and horsepower to our management leadership as we continue to transform The Denver Post from a world-class newspaper to one of the leading multimedia publishers in the country," said Kirk MacDonald. "Her success at Yahoo! and Microsoft in developing digital products and audiences will help us realize the digital revenue growth we need to succeed."

Most recently, Brunner was Chief Marketing Officer for PriceGrabber, a part of Experian. Prior to that she was Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for Yahoo! Media, and held executive roles in marketing, sales and product development with Microsoft and Vivendi.
