By: E&P Staff "The Doozies," a new comic strip by Emmy Award-winning TV writer/producer Tom Gammill, has been added to the Uclick online comic strip portal GoComics.com.
The strip features a character named Dean Doozie, whom Gammill describes as "a lovable boob," as well as his wife, Dana, and their daughter, Eve.
"What I meant to say was I'm a lovable boob," Gammill says in a release. "Dean Doozie is a dynamic new character and a welcome addition to any comics page. He'll be tackling hard-hitting topics like the importance of flossing."
Gammill has written episodes of ?Seinfeld,? ?The Critic,? and ?The Wonder Years,? and has co-produced episodes of ?The Simpsons? and ?Futurama.?
In addition to doing the strip, Gammill is releasing on YouTube his own series of "Learn to Draw" videos, which he is producing with his writing partner, Max Pross. "When I was a kid I bought a lot of "How To Draw" books by famous cartoonists who nobody had ever heard of, and weren't very good artists," Gammill says. "I'm proud to be following in that tradition."
The Doozies updates three times per week and is available now for all GoComics subscribers to add to their customized comic pages. GoComics.com is owned and operated by digital entertainment provider Uclick.
