By: E&P Staff "The Girls" comic creator Franklin Folger has left $250,000 to set up an endowment at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, reported The Cincinnati Enquirer.
This money will be used to buy the artwork of past, present, and future students for the academy's collections. There are at least 900 living artists around the country who attended the academy, according to the Enquirer.
Folger -- a Cincinnati resident who died last November at the age of 88 -- also left $50,000 each to the city's symphony orchestra, library, and other institutions.
