We’re excited to announce that Rotimi Adeoye will be joining us as an Opinion writer for the next year. He will write editorials and publish essays and videos under his own byline. Rotimi has impressed us with his creative and thoughtful work as a contributing Opinion writer this year, writing articles on data centers, housing policy and crime. He has already helped shape our thinking on American politics, and we feel fortunate that he will now be a regular part of our deliberations and writing process.
Rotimi previously worked as a contributing writer at MSNBC and a columnist at The Daily Beast. He has also been a speechwriter at the A.C.L.U. and a press secretary on Capitol Hill. He is a native of Bucks County, Pa., and graduated this spring from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. He enjoys long-distance running and cooking multicourse meals for his friends. He is also an obsessive movie watcher who maintains a detailed Letterboxd account and looks forward to talking about movies with his new colleagues.
Rotimi will be based in Philadelphia. Please join us in welcoming him to Times Opinion.
