The beta, which will be called “How To” during the testing period, includes a variety of “how-tos,” such as designing an escape room, baking a cookie pizza and inventing a new language. The Times will use the beta period to develop insights on how kids interact with the product.
The app will not display advertising and its privacy policy can be found here. Those who are interested in testing the beta may potentially be granted access by requesting an invitation.
