'The Pantagraph' in Bloomington, Ill., Names M.E.

By: E&P Staff Mark Pickering has been named managing editor of The Pantagraph in Bloomington, Ill.

Pickering, 48, has been associate editor/content for the central Illinois daily since 2001. Before that, he served as the Pantagraph's metro editor for 16 years.

Previously, Pickering was a reporter and editor at the Register-News in Mt. Vernon, Ill., before joining The Pantagraph in 1982 as a reporter.
