The Philadelphia Inquirer Announces Peter Doucette as Chief Revenue Officer and Strategic Advisor, Digital Revenue, The Lenfest Institute

Philadelphia Inquirer Publisher and CEO Elizabeth H. Hughes announced today that Peter Doucette is joining the organization as its Chief Revenue Officer and Strategic Advisor, Digital Revenue, to The Lenfest Institute. Doucette begins at The Inquirer on Feb 1.

In his role, Doucette will be responsible for leading The Inquirer as it continues its ambitious digital transformation into a multi-brand platform responsible for producing essential journalism for the communities of Philadelphia. Doucette will serve on the executive leadership team and report directly to Hughes.

Doucette has more than 20 years of experience in working with newspaper, magazine, and digital-native publishers to transform their businesses. Most recently, Doucette served as Managing Director at FTI Consulting where he partnered with clients to engineer their digital transformation. He developed the Subscriptions Lab, an innovative partnership with the Google News Initiative designed to transform local news publishers globally through collaboration, research, and experimentation.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Doucette was the Chief Consumer Revenue Officer at Boston Globe Media. He speaks globally on the topics of subscription models, digital transformation, pricing strategy, and building and leading customer-centric organizations.

Mr. Doucette has a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame and completed the Sulzberger Fellowship at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
