By: E&P Staff Woody Allen has always been extremely secretive about his movie projects, but now it's become known that Scarlett Johansson plays a student journalist for a college paper in his contemporary comedy "Scoop," now set for release on July 28.
The idea: Visiting friends in London, she happens upon the scoop of a lifetime, about the elusive Tarot Card Killer.
Along the newshound trail, she finds magic, clues, murder -- and maybe love, with the inevitable British aristocrat/suspect (Hugh Jackman). "Scoop" also features Ian McShane, Allen himself in a major role, and Jim Dunk.
Johansson recently starred in Allen's far more serious "Match Point."
A look at the trailer for "Scoop" find the actress in studious rimless glasses -- and also a bathing suit. Allen fears for her safety as she starts to fall for possible murderer, Jackman, who lacks fur in this flick and also ends up in the pool.
