The Washington Post today announced it will significantly expand its video team with the addition of 30 positions. With a full staff of more than 70, the video team will focus on quickly responding to breaking news, creating personality-driven video programming and optimizing Post video content for other platforms.
Video views grew 139% in 2016 over the previous year as a result of The Post’s original video content and ambitious live programming around big news events.
