The Wichita (Kansas) Eagle is starting the new year with a new managing editor and a new reporter.
Marcia Werts worked in a variety of editing roles for The Eagle from 1998 to 2019. She then worked from Wichita for the Sacramento-based McClatchy Co., the Eagle’s parent company, before returning to The Eagle as managing editor in January.
