Three New Editorial Staffers Join E&P p.7

By: Editorial Content EDITOR & PUBLISHER magazine has named new Washington editor, a new associate editor and has added an editorial assistant to the staff.
Kelvin Childs is the new Washington editor. Childs most recently worked at Newhouse News Service in Washington.
From 1988 to 1994, Childs worked at the Orlando Sentinel, where he was a member of the newspaper's editorial board.
He also spent two years at Syracuse Newspapers and also worked at the Baltimore News American.
Dorianne Perrucci was named an associate editor in the New York office. Her primary area of coverage will be advertising and marketing.
Perrucci has an extensive writing background, most recently freelance.
From 1984 to 1990 she was editorial director for Covenant House, the privately funded agency that helps runaway and abused children. There she established the publications department that produced press releases, brochures, newsletters and other informational materials.
She served as editorial liaison between the Morris County (N.J.) Historical Society and Windsor Publishing Co., producing two history books.
Perrucci also spent two years as communications coordinator for U.S. Senator Roger Jepsen (R-Iowa).
She also worked as features editor for the National Courier in Plainfield, N.J., and as a staff writer for the Morris County, N.J., Daily Record.
Christine Magnotta joined E&P as an editorial assistant.
A recent graduate of American University, Magnotta previously worked as an intern at States News Service in Washington.
