The Times Leader, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., has promoted two managers.
Wilkes-Barre Publishing Co. President Prashant Shitut named Jeff Tinner to director of print/packaging operations. Already managing packaging, Tinner had taken on oversight of printing for several months. He responsibilities also include facilities and maintenance.
"His ability to deliver results by engaging people and leading by example will serve him well in this new role," Shitut said.
Tinner, who grew up and was educated in the area, began working at the Times Leader in 2003 as a delivery driver. He moved up to trucking supervisor and shift supervisor before being named packaging manager.
Also from the area, Information Technology Director Brian Dudlick, a Times Leader employee for 15 years, is adding prepress management to his responsibilities.
"His technological and process-improvement experience will help continue the excellent work produced by our pre-press and our IT staffs," Shitut said.
