The Richmond Times-Dispatch has appointed Paul Whelan editor of TimesDispatch.com.
Whelan, 42, who joined the newspaper in 2000, most recently was the design team leader. He has held other positions, including Weekend section editor, deputy features editor and deputy presentation editor.
