Tivo Extends Deal With TMS

By: E&P Staff Tivo Inc., which provides television services for digital video recorders, signed a new multi-year agreement with Tribune Media Services (TMS) of Chicago for TV listings. The deal extends an ongoing relationship between the two companies.

Tivo will now have access to TMS Select, which offers more frequent availability of updates to program schedules.

In a statement, TMS General Manager for Sales and Marketing Kathy Tolstrup said her company continues to evolve its "content to meet the dynamic delivery system Tivo has in place for its customers."

TMS collects information from over 12,500 broadcast, cable and satellite sources worldwide.
