Posted
By: E&P Staff Two Tribune Co. units -- Chicagoland Publishing and Tribune Media Services -- are launching a magazine aimed at helping adults 55 to 64 "manage their changing leisure, professional, and personal needs."

Topics addressed in "Satisfaction" will include second or third careers, retirement portfolios, community service, family, travel, fitness and longevity, and more.

"Satisfaction" is scheduled to be introduced this September as a regional magazine in the Chicago area. Plans call for it to be published six times a year, with a controlled circulation of about 60,000.

Its publisher and editorial director is Mark Miller, who was most recently editorial director of FluentMedia -- a TMS interactive-content venture. He is a former Sunday editor of the Chicago Sun-Times and former editor of Crain's Chicago Business.

The magazine's director of advertising is Pat O'Neill, who has served in a number of advertising, marketing, and circulation roles at the Chicago Tribune.
