By: E&P Staff Tribune Media Services today announced a Web-based content catalog and "enhanced delivery platform" (at tmsfeatures.com) for print and online publishers as well as mobile and commercial markets.

The announcement was made at the Online News Association conference in Washington, D.C.

TMS' new online catalog offers more than 150 features. Media customers, in addition to buying these features by subscription or as individual columns and articles, have an option to get access to the entire catalog for one annual fee. Also, niche and specialty publishers can download and pay for topic-specific articles and images on the site.

The Clickability-powered catalog includes columnists such as Amy Dickinson, Arianna Huffington, Garrison Keillor, Leonard Pitts, Samantha Power, Wolfgang Puck, Rick Steves, and Cal Thomas; McClatchy-Tribune Information Services; Kiplinger Consumer News; content from USA Today; content from Rolling Stone, New York, Atlantic and Foreign Affairs magazines; and Jumble crossword and Sudoku puzzles.

There are also comics, editorial cartoons, photos, graphics, and illustrations, along with features in such categories as advice, health, travel, real estate, food, entertainment, and personal finance.

Customers can receive content via e-mail, RSS feeds, or FTP delivery.

"TMS has a 92-year history of aggregating and distributing a wide range of news and features to media customers," said TMS President and CEO David D. Williams in a statement, adding: "We can work with a publisher of any type and any budget level to get them the content their audiences want -- in formats and via the delivery method they choose."
