If you ever hoped to keep something on the down low, it's best not to announce it in front of a command gathering of multiple newspaper staffs. Newsrooms are not impregnable fortresses.
Todd Vogt knows this.
And, in an "all-hands meeting," the San Francisco Print Media Company president told the assembled workforces of the SF Weekly, Bay Guardian, Examiner, and Bay Area Reporter that he's heavily leaning toward selling his share of their papers' parent company to his partners, Oahu Press, Inc.
