Tony Gray Named Editor of Fremont Tribune

Tony Gray has been named editor of the Fremont (Neb.) Tribune. He began working at the Fremont Tribune as a sports writer and photographer in 2007. Gray became assistant sports editor at the Fremont Tribune in 2014.

Throughout the years, Gray has won numerous awards for his photography. He won first place in the sports action photo category in 2006 in the Minnesota Associated Press News and Photo Contest.

In the Nebraska Associated Press News and Photo Contest, Gray won second place in the spot news photo category and third place in the photo essay category in 2007 and first place in the sports feature category in 2008. Gray won third place in the feature photo category in 2008 and first place in the news photography category in 2013 in the Nebraska Press Association Better Newspaper Contest.
