By: E&P Staff Trader Publishing Co., publisher of niche publications such as Auto Trader that compete with local newspapers for classified ads, announced Wednesday it is expanding its help-wanted book The Employment Guide into the Florida Panhandle.
The Panhandle edition of the weekly will have a distribution of 18,000 copies from 900 locations in the westernmost counties of Florida bordering Alabama and Georgia, General Sales Manager Joe Fagan said in a statement.
Employment Guide is in 64 markets nationwide and distributes more than 2 million copies per week, according to Trader.
Operating from an office in Pensacola, the Panhandle edition will hit the streets Jan. 16, Trader said.
In addition to the job and auto books, Trader publishes Auto Mart, For Rent, and Harmon Homes.
