Trib Total Media Licenses Burt System

By: E&P Staff To facilitate preprint targeting capabilities of its daily, weekly and TMC publications, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review publisher Trib Total Media recently licensed the Burt System from Burt Technologies in Evergreen, Colo.

Trib Total Media will license Burt's Packaging Manager, Line Manager, Distribution Manager, Staffing Manager and the Burt Open Interface deployment by spring.

In addition to zoning possibilities for targeted distribution of advertising, "the seamless integration with our Circulation and Advertising Systems, combined with the expected improvements in our Packaging and Warehouse operations will allow us to remain a competitive leader in the marketplace," Trib Total Media President and CEO Ralph J. Martin said in a statement.
