Tribe.net Teams With CareerBuilder

By: E&P Staff Tribe Network and CareerBuilder have partnered to let Tribe.net users access CareerBuilder.com's job listings.

A December 2003 survey by Chicago-based CareerBuilder found that the three top methods for finding jobs are newspaper classifieds, online career sites and networking -- which is where San Francisco-based Tribe Networks comes into play. Tribe is an online classifieds service combining social networks, groups and listings.

This partnership will let Tribe.net users leverage their connections with other Tribe members and personal networks to capitalize on job leads, according to the companies.

Tribe's investors include Knight Ridder of San Jose, Calif., and The Washington Post Co. Knight Ridder is also a partial owner of CareerBuilder.
