Tribune Co. Names New Real Estate Director

By: E&P Staff The Tribune Company has named Stephanie Pater its new director of real estate.

Pater joined the company last month, and since then she has helped finalize the sale of the Tribune Studios real estate in Los Angeles. She is currently working on the acquisition of the TMCT properties in Los Angeles, Long Island, Baltimore and Hartford, Conn.

Her new responsibilities include conducting a complete review of the company?s real estate in order to take full advantage of current holdings and reduce overall costs.

Prior to joining Tribune Pater had worked in corporate real estate for 15 years, most recently serving as director of real estate and construction for Chicago law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Before that, she worked for Kaplan Inc. and Trammell Crow Company in Atlanta.

Pater is also currently vice president of the Chicago chapter of CoreNet, a professional association for corporate real estate executives.
