By: E&P Staff Tribune Media Net has agreed to provide local online advertising to one of the top 10 media agencies in the U.S.
Novus Print Media and Tribune Media Net are expanding a partnership to include not only Tribune's print properties but also its Web sites for a combined print and online buy.
Novus manages print and online campaigns for direct response, national, and retail clients.
"Novus has been an excellent partner over the years, and we are proud to offer their clients the value and flexibility of coordinated campaigns among Tribune's print and online properties," Kenneth DePaola, president of Tribune Media News, said in a statement.
Novus also has agreements in place with McClatchy, E.W. Scripps, MediaNews Group, Clarity Media, Hearst, and Gannett.
"Newspaper readership and advertising are evolving and it is important to develop means for staying ahead of the curve," Brian Burke, CEO of Novus Network, said in a statement. "Creating programs and partnerships that recognize the changes in newspaper media consumption not only provide value to advertisers, but also sustainable growth for newspapers."
