By: E&P Staff Tribune has changed the management structure of two of its Florida newspapers, the Orlando Sentinel and the South Florida Sun Sentinel in Ft. Lauderdale. Avido Khahaifa, currently the general manager of the Orlando Sentinel, has been named senior vice president of content for both papers. He will also retain his duties as GM.
The move means that the editors of the Orlando Sentinel and Sun Sentinel, Charlotte Hall and Earl Maucker respectively, will report into Khahaifa.
South Florida Business Journal
reported the changes.
Additionally, Bert Ortiz, vice president of circulation at the Orlando paper will report to Howard Greenberg, president and publisher of the Sun Sentinel. Bob Christie, vice president of operations for Tribune papers in Florida, will have oversight for Orlando's operations.
