President Donald Trump blamed Fox News for Republican losses in the midterm elections, accusing the network of giving too much airtime to Democrats. His comments followed projections that Democrats would capture both the House and Senate, TheWrap’s Alyssa Ray reported.
In a Truth Social post, Trump said Fox News “bears responsibility for these losses,” faulting its inclusion of opposition voices. The criticism followed earlier attacks on the network’s election coverage, polling and Jessica Tarlov, a liberal co-host of “The Five.” Fox News did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
Trump also said he would offer his own political analysis of why candidates won or lost. His remarks added to a series of election-night statements distancing himself from Republican defeats and directing criticism toward the news coverage surrounding them.
