Two Krause CTP lines for Dutch Printer

By: E&P Staff Each consisting of a Krause LS Jet platesetter and BlueFin processing unit, two complete production lines will be installed for faster, more reliable plate production of a greater quantity of print jobs at newspaper printer NDC, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.

Krause's local partner, Graphic Products B.V., acted as general contractor, which planned, supported and executed the full project in cooperation with Krause Biagosch, Bielefeld, Germany.

NDC annually produces approximately 230 million copies of such titles as Dagblad van het Noorden and Leeuwarder Courant. Besides producing 30 weeklies, NDC also prints commercial orders.
