By: E&P Staff Two German production sites have chosen computer-to-plate systems from Krause-Bigosch GmbH, Bielefeld, Germany.
M?rkische Verlags- und Druck mbH, which produces the M?rkische Allgemeine, installed three Krause LS Jet 300 platesetters, three Krause Bluefin processors and three Nela VCPevolution punch-benders in its Potsdam prepress facilities last month.
Krause Repro will supply the paper's plates and chemistry.
The Remscheider General-Anzeiger finalized the purchase of a new CTP system at the Ifra Expo, in Amsterdam. For many years a user of Krause's NP 150 platesetter, the paper will upgrade to Krause's LS Performance platesetter, together with the new BlueFin processor, which made its debut at Ifra.
