United Names Managing Editor/Comics

By: E&P Staff Steve Behling has joined United Media as managing editor/comics for United Feature Syndicate and Newspaper Enterprise Association.

Behling previously worked for Disney Publishing Worldwide, where he was executive editor, comics, for Disney Adventures magazine. Behling, who has also been a freelance writer, began his career with the Marvel Entertainment Group.

"His experience comes from outside the typical newspaper environment, which will bring a new perspective to our business," said Lisa Klem Wilson, United's senior vice president and general manager.
