Universal Anniversaries for 'Motley' Feature and Cartoonist Carlson

By: E&P Staff The "Motley Fool" investment feature and an editorial cartoonist are reaching anniversaries with Universal Press Syndicate this week.

"Motley Fool," the Tom and David Gardner feature that combines a weekly print column with a Web site, will be with Universal 10 years as of this Friday. The brothers have also authored eight books, and do a show for National Public Radio.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial cartoonist Stuart Carlson will reach his 15th anniversary with Universal on Thursday. The award-winning creator became the Milwaukee Sentinel's cartoonist in 1983, and his work has since also appeared in publications such as The New York Times and The Washington Post.
