Universal Anniversary for Business Columnist Scott Burns

By: E&P Staff Business columnist Scott Burns is marking his 15th anniversary with Universal Press Syndicate this month.

Burns' column has appeared in The Dallas Morning News since 1985. He has also written columns and articles for various magazines, and is the author of books such as "Home, Inc.: The Hidden Wealth and Power of the American Household."

One of the topics Burns often focuses on in his Universal column is Social Security. He has also received a lot of attention for recent pieces about problems with customer service at Home Depot (E&P Online, March 23).
